EFBWW urges Ursula von der Leyen not to give up the EU Pay Transparency Directive

The EFBWW sent a letter to the president of the European Commission Ursula von der Leyen demanding the Commission not to postpone the EU Pay Transparency Directive and the Gender Equality Strategy.

The EFBWW considers that a delay would be a mistake with far reaching consequences.

Reminding that gender equality is a cornerstone of the Von der Leyen Presidency, the EFBWW defends that actions to secure gender equality cannot be called into question even in times of COVID-19.

Working women should not be put to the back of the queue as an issue to be dealt with after the recovery.
